Wispy dark bronze foliage topped with yellow flowers makes bronze fennel a striking addition to the landscape. 4’ perennial -its feathery foliage is licorice scented. Used in cooking or just as an ornamental herb. Fennel is also a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly. Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. The yellow flowers attract many pollinators. Nice in flower arrangements –foliage and flowers!
